AVL is a unit with GPS (Global Positioning System) and GSM/GPRS (cellular) interface which measures date, time, speed, latitude, longitude and distance traveled by vehicle continuously online. The information recorded is sent to Command Center periodically and plotted on the FleetView GIS Software, generating exception and analysis reports for your vehicle. In areas with no GSM coverage, data is recorded and transmitted subsequently when coverage is available.
